Pipette Specific Tips
Disposable pipette tips designed to fit specific manufacturers’ single and multichannel pipettes; offer optimal performance with the pipette for which they were designed but may be used with other pipettes when performance is not critical.
Pipettor manufacturers typically produce pipette tips designed specifically for their products. Some manufacturer specific tips can be used with other pipettor brands, however. And universal pipette tips can be substituted for the manufacturer specific tips. Generally, the pairing of the manufacturers’ pipettors and pipettor-specific tips produce the best results.
Manufacturer specific tips are available sterile or non-sterile; in a range of sizes, styles, and colors; and with and without filters. They may be sold in bulk packaging, in racks, individually wrapped, blister-packed, or in reload formats.

Abdos Low Retention Filter Tips are made of hydrophobic Polypropylene (PP) conforming to US FDA 21CFR. The filters are 100% pure porous (PE) which allows for maximum recovery of wetted samples while the inert, hydrophobic filter does not trap or block liquids. Filtering without contamination prevents both liquids and aerosols from passing through the filter. Polypropylene racks are very robust, sturdy with consistent and thick wall thickness can be used for repeat autoclaving.
